Over the past year, it has been great to share with so many of you match-up deals from the local drugstores, sometimes with and sometimes without my witty commentary. Sometimes that not-so-wittiness wasn’t really intentional – but hey, you get what you pay for, right? At any rate, Jen and I were looking over the blog and realizing that so much time gets put into deals that you can really find elsewhere online. And while we love the fact that you come to us for these deals, we also needed to balance that out with the fact that we love being a local blog with our need to spend time together as a family and not just spend hours putting together deals that you can find elsewhere.

So, after much consideration, we are going to spend the next few weeks without our weekly matchup listings, and hopefully spend the time relaxing, enjoying family, and sharing deals with you that are local to our stores and area. We’ll still bring you some of the great CVS, Walgreens, and RiteAid deals that we find from time to time, but for the most part, we’re going to experiment by letting other people bring you those deals while we focus on the Central Valley and the deals we’ve found right here in our hometown.
